II Project constraints and criteria / Features
After Going through some inspiration designs through UI Websites ( Behance/Dribbble/Instagram Accounts) I put together some constraints for the project.
Accessibility
- Create a Dark scheme identity for the system
+ Visual- Helps users with Eye Sensitivity
- The design needs to be simple while utilizing machine learning to create unique experiences and interfaces that adapt to the user’s needs and wants
- The visual side must have an exciting effect
+ the test needs to be something cool worth sharing
Finger print scan
- Destinations navigation with Some kind of talking machine Like Siri and smart destination giving suggestions to Hotels/Restaurants/Bar/Fun
- Music to the ears and vibes / mood
- Easy accessible Fundamentals
- Displays phone calls with swipe left right to answer kind of like apple watch system
- beeping or alarm when close to distressed close by car
Through out this project I decided to head straight to understanding and grasp how the current interface design works with aim of designing for the next generation. One of my close friends owns a Mercedes Benz, so I decided to call him up to come over with the car, played around with the buttons, and from there developed what the current Full user map looks like
III WireFraming
After understanding how the current interface works in-order to design for the next generation and creating the features, I hopped in to wire-framing and sketching.
IIII Results : Driver Profile
Scan finger then falls right in profile homepage. Designed specifically and adjusted to the driver preferences. Profile picture in the forefront and a simple Gesture like “Good after noon” creates a great start-off experience for the driver.
Smart Destinations
Mercedes will learn and observe your day to day driving habits and recommend navigation based on them or through voice command questions and answers based on how driver feels in the moment.
Simplified Music through Spotify
Connected to your Spotify account. Driver can easily play favorite music on repeat, Making it a more intuitive experience. Through putting the album Artwork and using easy controls at the forefront
Ask and you will Receive Voice command
A new smart interface voice command. Ask for your favorite music station, Favorite location and it will display it for you
Fast Controls / Parking assist / Car distressed alert
Driver main safety controls at the for-front when needed. Car Alert and parking assistance accessible at any time.
